Who We Are
Surrey Fringe Chorus is a men’s a cappella group based in Guildford. We sing everything from classic barbershop to pop favourites and show tunes — always with energy, harmony, and fun.
Founded in the 1970s, we were one of the first barbershop choruses in the UK and are proud members of the British Association of Barbershop Singers (BABS). Over the years we’ve sung at weddings, parties, festivals, theatres, and competitions across the country, as a full chorus and in smaller quartets.

For Singers
We’re around 30 voices strong — but always growing! New members are welcome, whether you’re experienced or brand new to singing. No need to read music — we provide learning tracks and plenty of support. Our main aim is enjoyment and shared achievement, with professional coaching from our music team and visiting educators.

We rehearse every Tuesday evening in Guildford (7:45–10:00pm), and you’ll often find us continuing the fun in the pub afterwards.
